Harvey Newman joined Rekindled in 2025 as Animation Director, bringing over two decades of AAA experience and a passion for building strong, creative animation teams. From gameplay to cinematics, Harvey has led animation departments on some of the industry’s biggest titles, including Star Wars Battlefront II and Horizon Zero Dawn. Known for his mentorship and clear direction, Harvey combines deep technical knowledge with a sharp eye for storytelling — always pushing for animation that enhances both gameplay and emotion.

ABOUT ME
Lately I’ve been collecting a lot of old-school consoles and games — and honestly, loving it. There’s so much to learn from what came before us. These games had to do a lot with very little, and that kind of constraint-led creativity really inspires how I think about animation and design today.
